My whirlwind day of activities at Victoria Falls included a helicopter tour over the falls which would add a layer to my visit having seen the falls by land the day before. I already felt the “wow” factor the day before so now I was excited to see the falls by air.

The helicopter tour of Victoria Falls would be a quick twenty minutes but enough to experience the thrill of the falls, despite the low levels of water.  The falls are on the right of the photo below.

The rest of the landscape looked like this and reminded me of being out West in the U.S.

A helicopter tour of Victoria Falls should definitely be on your list when you visit – It was part of the activities trio package that I had chosen for my visit so look at your options during your research and when you work with your hotel concierge.
