All About Philadelphia This Week with the Philly DNC Convention

So this week Philadelphia is again in the Spotlight (fingers crossed it’s a good spotlight for the city) for the Democratic National Convention.  The Philly DNC Convention stories about politics, protestors, celebrities and speeches will dominate the news cycle.  Delegates and media are wandering the city and the suburbs (hello folks in King of Prussia – enjoy that shopping mall!) so I thought why not highlight the city this week on the blog.  I will be reposting a few of my favorite Philly posts this week.  If you are a new reader, these are new to you, if you are a few of my long time supporters, hopefully you’ll enjoy revisiting the stories of the city.  Philly food, attractions and hidden gems will shared with you this week.

Here’s hoping your local news decides to share the great food finds and all things Philly that make the city a great place to visit on your next trip. There are so many great successes in Philly that I hope get highlighted rather than the old “which cheesesteak is best Pat’s or Geno’s debate” (locals know the answer is Jim’s on South Street!).

I hope you enjoy this Philly Week on the blog.  Look for upcoming Philly posts on The Logan Hotel (with rooftop bar), the Barnes Collection and Rodin Museum as I look to share more of my hometown Philly with you (why haven’t you planned your visit yet?).
